We are holding another six week block of information and support sessions for families, beginning on Wednesday 25th May 2016. The course which will run for six consecutive Wednesday evenings (until 29th June) is open to anyone caring for a loved one with dementia.
We explore a range of topics including an overview of dementia, communication, occupation, legal issues and changing relationships. There are lots of opportunities for sharing experiences and discussion with others in similar situations. The sessions are held from 7-9.30 pm in Mallow Primary Care Centre. If necessary, care for lyour loved one with dementia can be provided to enable you to attend.
Multiple members of a family can attend though we look for a commitment that at least one family member attends each week.
Booking is essential.
