If you are concerned about your memory, North Cork Dementia Alliance can support you.
Memory Resource Room
If you are concerned about your memory you can meet with a HSE Occupational Therapist to discuss the issues you are experiencing. Advice can be given on practical ways of dealing with memory loss along with brain health information. This is not an assessment service.
Please view the Memory Resource Room page for more information or click on the Memory Resource Room leaflet (below).
Brain Health Workshop
You may also be interested in attending a brain health workshop, facilitated by a HSE Occupational Therapist. Topics covered include how memory works, staying mentally, physically and socially active and building your cognitive reserve. These workshops are held in Mallow Primary Healthcare Centre.
Social Club
You can join our monthly social club. Each month we visit a local place of interest followed by a cuppa. All are welcome.
Dementia Cafes
You can attend our monthly Dementia Cafes, held in The Culturlann, Newmarket and Adair Hall. We have different speakers at each cafe and refreshments are provided. They are a warm, social gathering and all are welcome. See our newsfeed for the latest cafe information.
