If you have been diagnosed with dementia, North Cork Dementia Alliance can support you.

Memory Resource Room

If you have been diagnosed with dementia and wish to speak to someone about it, you can meet with a HSE Occupational Therapist for information, advice and support.

Please view the Memory Resource Room page for more information or click on the Memory Resource Room leaflet (below).

Counselling Service

We offer a subsidised counselling service, provided by a registered psychotherapist. These sessions aim to provide participants with a safe place to express the range of emotions that may be experienced after being diagnosed with dementia. The therapist will work with you to help you find the best way of coping with these emotions.
Sessions are typically held on a weekly basis for six weeks in person, via Zoom or over the phone.
For further information, contact the project.
