We’re excited to announce a very special August Social Club event “The Friendship Walk” followed by a ‘Hooley in Ballyhooly’! This will take place on Tuesday 13th August 11am-2pm and is fundraiser for the North Cork Dementia Alliance.
The walk will be led by Pat Nash , who has Lewy Body Dementia. Pat is a former Irish Army member with a wealth of orienteering experience. He’s also one of the founding members of the Ballyhooly Walking Group.
Meeting : 11am at Ballyhooly Community Centre (EIRCODE P51 DC42) to carpool as there is limited parking at the woods. The walk will take approx. 45 minutes.
Followed by: Trad session and refreshments in Ballyhooly Community Centre, 12-2pm
Please note the walk is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
However , you do not have to come on the walk to attend the trad session
