The Crystal Project is facilitating a six week block of information and support sessions for families of people with dementia. It will begin on Thursday 24th March 2022 and will run each Thursday for six weeks. It will be held from 7pm – 9pm in Mallow Primary Healthcare Centre. It is free of charge and any family members are welcome to attend. Booking is essential.
Topics covered include:
- overview of dementia
- communication
- safety at home
- nutrition and personal care
- occupation
- legal issues
- changing relationships
These sessions also provide you with the opportunity to meet other families in a supportive environment.
